Is Sharespot really free?
Yes. The core app is free and will always be free. No ads. No data sales. We may offer optional paid features down the road to support the project, but the core experience stays free.
What ages is Sharespot for?
Thirteen and up. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 13 and we take moderation seriously.
Will you ever add likes or follower counts?
No. The whole product is built on the idea that those numbers made sharing worse. Removing them isn't a feature we might reconsider — it's the point.
When is Android coming?
iOS first. Android is on the roadmap. Follow the site or email hellosharespot@gmail.com to be notified.
Is my data safe?
We encrypt data in transit and at rest, we don't sell your information, and you can delete your account and all associated data from inside the app at any time. Full details in our privacy policy.
How do I report content?
Tap the three-dot menu on any post and choose “Report.” Our team reviews every report and acts on what violates our community guidelines.
How do I delete my account?
From the app: Settings → Account → Delete Account. Once confirmed, your data is permanently removed within 30 days. This action cannot be undone.
